Little Writers: Multisensory Handwriting Foundations
Ages 4–6

Give your child a confident start in writing!
Little Writers is a fun, play-based class led by a licensed pediatric occupational therapist and thoughtfully designed to help preschool and kindergarten-aged children build the foundational skills needed for handwriting success.

Using a multisensory approach, children will engage in movement, tactile play, visual cues, and auditory feedback to support:

  • Fine motor development
  • Letter formation
  • Pre-writing and early literacy skills

Through hands-on, developmentally appropriate activities—like playdough shaping, finger painting, and interactive songs with motions—kids will:

  • Strengthen hand and finger muscles
  • Improve pencil grasp and control
  • Reinforce letter recognition in fun, memorable ways

Benefits of the Program:

  • Boosts confidence and encourages a love of learning
  • Supports attention and coordination through movement and play
  • Provides individualized guidance in a small-group setting
  • Builds the physical and cognitive skills needed for successful handwriting

Whether your child is just beginning to explore letters or needs extra support before kindergarten, Little Writers offers an engaging and supportive environment that meets them where they are—while helping them grow in all the right ways.
